How do I enroll in the Ad It Up™ program?
To enroll in the Ad It Up™ program you will need to download the Ad It Up™ app and complete the registration process accepting the Ad It Up™ Terms and Conditions.
Is the Ad It Up™ program available for all Cricket plans and phones?
The Ad It Up™ program is available for all Cricket monthly plan customers with an Android™ phone with Android 4.4 and above. It is not available for iPhone, Blackberry OS, or Windows phones.
Is there any cost to participate in the Ad It Up™ program? How exactly does it work?
Participation in the Ad It Up™ is FREE. You earn points by viewing ads, rewarded videos or completing surveys or offers that you see in your personal dashboard in the Ad It Up™ app. If you want to you can also make ads to appear in your lockscreen and you swipe left or right to indicate your interest and clear the screen, or click thru to the website to explore the ad further. You can redeem your points for Cricket bill credits and digital gift cards in the app.
How do I claim my rewards?
When you’re ready to redeem your Ad It Up points just go to the Redeem section in the app and select your reward option. You’ll instantly receive via email a confirmation of a Cricket bill credit request or a digital gift card depending on the choice selected.
Why are some of the redemption cards and rewards grayed out and not active?
If a redeemable reward is ‘gray’ and you cannot click on it, it means you don’t have enough points to redeem this reward at this time.
Where can I view my Ad It Up™ points balance?
Once you’ve enrolled in the Ad It Up™ program, your Ad It Up™ points balance will be available in the My Account section of the Ad It Up™ app. You may also see your running point total at the top right of your lockscreen if you opt in for lockscreen ads.
Why am I not seeing an ad in my lockscreen?
For seeing ads in your lockscreen you need to opt in from the Earn Points section of the app. At the bottom of that section just turn ON the option to see lockscreen ads. Once you did this, on the rare occasion that you don’t see an ad in the lockscreen, don’t worry just swipe right or left to access your phone. You won’t earn points for that occasion but you will earn points every time you do get an ad.
What if I keep seeing the same ads over and over?
Adfone works with thousands of advertisers that are targeting you based on your preferences. It is possible that certain ads will repeat themselves, especially at the beginning of you joining the program. Please be patient – our system will learn and improve the more that you use it.
Why am I seeing ads that aren’t relevant to me?
When you join the program, at the beginning the relevance of ads will be lower as we need to continuously profile your interests based on the feedback you give us. Please be patient – our system will learn and improve the more that you use it.
What if I simply want to use my phone and not give feedback on an ad?
Don’t worry, we’ve designed this to be easy and friendly to you. If you are in a hurry and don’t want to give feedback on an ad by swiping right or left, simply tap the home button on your phone to bypass the lockscreen ad and get into your phone.
I saw an inappropriate/offensive ad. What should I do?
Ad It UpTM and its partners do its best to filter out inappropriate or offensive ads. In the unlikely event that you should see one, please click on Report Last Ad from the navigation drawer of the app and report the details of the ad. Thank you for your feedback!
How do I stop receiving ads in my lockscreen?
You can turn OFF the lockscreen ads from either the Settings or Earn Points sections of the app at anytime. To restart ad flow to your lockscreen simply turn ON the lockscreen ads from either the Settings or Earn Points sections of the app.
What happens when I’m offline?
There are times when you might be offline. For example, on an airplane, subway or in an elevator. In these situations you may see a specially branded message which will not earn you points. Normal service will resume when you are back online.
Do my Points have cash value?
No. They can’t be sold or exchanged and therefore don’t have cash value. They can only be used to redeem for rewards offered by the Ad It Up program.
Why am I earning less compared to others/previous months?
Your Points earning potential is variable based on how often you use the app or, if you turned ON the lockscreen ads, how many times you access your lockscreen, so it is most likely that you will have different actual earning every month.
How do I receive gift cards?
Upon redeeming your Points for a gift card, you will receive an email with your gift card payout including your gift card number and PIN. You will then be able to activate your gift card at the indicated website. Happy shopping!
How do I receive my Cricket Bill Credit?
Your Cricket bill credit will be applied to your account. Once you request a Cricket bill credit as reward we will send you an email with a confirmation of your request and approximately 2 days later we will send you another email confirming that the credit was applied to your Cricket account. If there was an inconvenience in applying your credit we will also let you know by email within approximately 2 days from your request and we will put your points back in your Ad It Up account for you to try again or select a different reward.
What is the maximum number of points I can redeem per month?
There is a monthly limit of 125,000 points for redemptions.
How do I unsubscribe from the Ad It Up™ program?
If you want to cancel your Ad It Up™ account, you can do so from the Settings section of the app. If you elect to cancel your current Ad It Up™ account your points balance will be forfeited.

What if my Cricket account is canceled?

If you decide to cancel your current AdsGift account you will be forfeiting your points balance (which we will be unable to give you back should you change your mind), and you will stop receiving further communications related to the AdsGift programme.
At this point you can also uninstall the AdsGift app from your phone.

What happens if I delete my AdsGift application?
For users who are still registered
If you delete the application but remain a registered user, your account will stay active and your points balance will be intact for 90 days. After 90 days of inactivity within the AdsGift Apps , the points collected in your account will expire.
For users who opt out
If you delete the application and opt out, your account will be closed and all collected points will expire immediately. We will NOT be able to reinstate its any collected points should you change your mind later on.

Ongoing survey availability is based on your profile. You will be able to complete a maximum of 5 Surveys a day.

How do I cancel my Lycarewards account?
If you want to cancel your Lycarewards account, please “Cancel Account” on the settings page of the Lycarewards app from your phone. If you decide to cancel your Lycarewards account you will be forfeiting your points balance and you will stop receiving further communications related to the Lycarewards programme.
What if I cease my Lycamobile service?
We hope you’ll stay part of Lyca. But, in the event that you cease your Lycamobile service your points will still be available for up to 120 days and you will still be able to use your points balance to redeem for digital gift cards.
Why am I losing my points when I open the app?
The only time you have points taken away is when you make a redemption. If you did not make a redemption and this has happened then you previously lost connection to our servers and accumulated points that are going to be overwritten. Here’s how you can check to see if you lost connection previously:
- Open the Lycarewards app to the main screen where you can see your points displayed on a card.
- Click the green bar with the arrow pointing downward. This will expand to show more text.
- Where it says you have an amount of points pending, if it is not zero, then you are disconnected.
If after performing these steps you find yourself disconnected from the server, do not panic. Take a screenshot of the page you are on from the prior steps and email it to us at support-lyca@adfone.com. Our Engineering Support will respond to you as early as possible.
How do I reset my password?
On the sign-in page, select Forgot Password option. Once you submit your registered email for ‘Forgot Password’ you will receive an email with a link instructing you how to reset your password. Follow the instructions and you will regain access to your account.
How do I change my email address?
You can easily change your email address by updating your new email address details by sending an email to

Why am I not receiving points?
In the event that you are not receiving any points and your Lycarewards application is only displaying screens that talk about Lycarewards try the following:
- Click your phone’s App management window
- Close the Lycarewards application (which will allow it to restart)
- Open it in the app menu.
- Then lock and unlock your phone.
That’s it, you should be working and ready to get back to swiping for more rewards!
Points awarded for taking advantage of offers, completing survey or watching videos under Earn More can take up to an hour to be credited to your account. You need to complete watching the video or completing surveys to earn points.

There is a daily limit of 1,000 points for viewing lockscreen ads. Once you reach this limit you will still see ads but no points will be earned.

Do my Points have cash value?
No. They can’t be sold or exchanged and therefore don’t have cash value. They can only be used to redeem for Lyca plans/bundles or Gift Cards.
Can I port the points from a Lycarewards account to a Lycarewards account with a different mobile number?
No, your account, and the points in such account, is linked to the mobile number you used to register into the program. If you want, you can create another account under a different mobile number but you can’t merge the points from both accounts.
How do I claim my rewards?
When you’re ready to redeem your Lycarewards points just go to the Redeem tab in the app and select your reward option. If you have selected a Lyca plan/bundle your account will be updated within 1 hour but could take up to 1 working day with your chosen plan/bundle. If you have selected a gift card you will receive email confirmation with gift card/PIN within 1 hour. The digital gift card will be available for redemption as soon as you receive the email.
How do I receive my Lyca plan/bundle redemption benefit?
If you opt for a Lycamobile plan/bundle it will be applied automatically to your account when you select the redemption option on the Lycarewards app. This usually will be within 1 hour but could take up to 1 working day.
How do I receive a gift card redemption benefit?
Upon redeeming your Points for a gift card, you will receive an email within an hour with your gift card including your gift card number and PIN. You will then be able to activate your gift card at the selected website. Happy shopping!
Why are some of the redemption cards and rewards greyed out and not active?
If a redeemable reward is ‘grey’ and you cannot click on it, it means you don’t have enough points to redeem this reward.
What will happen if for some reason the Lycarewards redemption option can’t be redeemed?
If your Lycarewards redemption reward can’t be redeemed, the points used for such redemption will be credited back to your Lycarewards account and you will receive an email notifying you of the situation. This process could take up to 5 working days.

What happens when I’m offline?

The service will work exactly the same when you are roaming as in the UK. You will be responsible for any mobile data costs. You can can temporarily pause ads by signing out on the settings page of the app.
Does the app use mobile data?
Yes, the app uses mobile data unless you are connected to a wi-fi network. You are responsible for these mobile data charges. We expect average usage of 50 – 100 mb a month dependent on the mix of mobile/WiFi usage
