Senior Software Engineer


Play2Pay, Inc. in Miami, FL is looking for Senior Software Engineer. Qualified candidates will be analyzing user requirements and defining functional specifications using Agile and Scrum methodologies; Developing and implementing complex mobile applications; Developing the Android UI framework, design principles, patterns and best practices; Conducting application reviews and reviews of merge requests for Android and Python applications; Creating new features and functions in Android applications (Kotlin and Java); Developing the GUI, Spring MVC and Entity framework; Leading multiple modeling, simulations and analysis efforts to uncover the best mobile application solutions; Developing J2EE design patterns; Developing UML class diagrams and sequence diagrams; Enhancing the front-end of the application using Java, Kotlin, Android Studio, Android SDK, C#, JSON, XML, Postman, Room, APIs and Agile; Creating and consuming Web Services (RESTful and SOAP), RESTful APIs and Microservices; Implementing libraries using Android; Developing and implementing test validations of the applications for unit testing through integration testing using JUnit; Coordinating regular testing and QA procedures for the Android applications and the API; Analyzing test results and recommending modifications to the applications to meet project specifications; Participating in the deployment of the applications into existing systems, cloud environments (AWS) and databases using CI/CD methodologies, Maven and Jenkins; Maintaining version control using Git; Developing and implanting internal products and tool sets for consumption by other team members that improve team productivity and quality; and documenting modifications and enhancements made to the applications, systems and databases as required by the project.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Applications, Business or Engineering and two years’ experience in position or two years’ experience in IT field.

Special requirements: experience with Kotlin, Android Studio, Android SDK, C#, Java, JSON, XML, Postman, Room, APIs and Agile. Telecommuting may be allowed.
